About Us

After pursuing education in North America and the UK, Gifford Watkins wanted to come home. He did and settled down into a most normal life. During 8 years working in mental health and IT services, cancer struck. It was during the aftermath that Gifford envisioned an IT firm where service providers and clients could work closely together to automate and empower each other in a competitive market. Atlantic Web Fitters(AWF) was born in 2005 and with Gifford at the helm, AWF attracted individual IT legends to a new way of life, and a new way of offering IT services. Adopting DotNetNuke as Web Application Framework and Content Management System and choosing INTEL to power webservers, Atlantic Web Fitters went from basement to world class data facilities in less than a year. Now with servers in the USA and Canada, AWF is poised to carry on a tradition of caring for our clients and sticking with them through good times, bad times, professionally and personally. Our clients become our family; that's the way Gifford saw it, and that's the way it will stay.
